Earlier this year, actor Kamal Haasan officially announced that he is collaborating with actor Chiyaan Vikram for an upcoming Kollywood project. Touted to be an emotional action thriller, the upcoming Rajesh M Selva directorial will be bankrolled by Trident Arts and Kamal’s Rajkamal Films International.
Putting speculations to rest, music director Ghibran has confirmed that he is on board for the yet-to-be-titled project. Ghibran who has started composing for the film, took to his Twitter handle to share the news.
“Started composing for

For which, director Rajesh M Selva quickly replied, “Very happy to once again collaborate with my talented team of technician and Cast.

The upcoming movie marks the third collaboration of Ghibran and Kamal Haasan after Thoongavanam and Vishwaroopam 2.
Interestingly, the movie’s lead role was first offered to Kamal Haasan but the actor turned down the offer due to his political commitments. Akshara Haasan will be playing the female lead. The makers have also roped in sound designer Kunal Rajan for the film.
Vikram is awaiting the release of Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram and Hari’s Saamy Square. While Akshara Haasan will be next seen in a web-series, Kamal is prepping up to start shooting for Shankar’s Indian 2, a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster hit Indian.
