Google, the world’s premier search engine, makes it a point to mark important days with their doodles. The doodle generally appears instead of Google’s logo and the creators of the doodle sure put in a lot of effort to make the doodles exciting.
With a little over a week left for Christmas, Google doodle set the mood for the holiday season with their latest doodle, on Monday.
In what looks like a comic strip, a family of penguins is seen calling up their friend- a pelican- over the phone. The difference in seasons is starkly indicated with snow on the penguin’s side and palm trees on the pelican’s.
In the next strip, the penguins are seen packing their bags for a holiday on December 18 (as indicated by the calendar. The pelican’s picture is seen hanging on their wall.
Following this is an image with a portrait of the penguin and pelican families. There are also a series of presents marked 18, 25, 31 and 1, with the box labeled 18 open. This seems to be an indication that further doodles can be expected for Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year.
Google always wins our hearts with their art.
