The wait is over. After much delay, superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala is all set for a worldwide release. The date is June 7. Actor and producer Dhanush made the announcement on Twitter on Friday.
“Happy to announce that Superstar’s Kaala will release on June 7th in all languages worldwide,” he tweeted.
Directed by Pa. Ranjith, Kaala features Rajinikanth in the titular role and is being produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar films. Kaala will be released worldwide in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages.

According to reports, Kaala has been awarded a U/A certificate after 14 cuts. The movie was initially expected to release on April 27. Owing to the TFPC strike, there were speculations surrounding the release date of the movie.
Kaala marks the second collaboration of Rajinikanth with Pa. Ranjith, after the successful Kabali.
