After a long wait, the makers of Malayalam film Odiyan unveiled the much-anticipated young avatar of Mohanlal in the movie. The actor who has shed 18 kilos, looks trimmed and stunning in the teaser.
While fans are celebrating the complete actor’s new look, Mohanlal has got a congratulatory call from a special person. It is none other than Superstar Rajinikanth.
Talking in an interview to a popular Malayalam news channel, Odiyan‘s director V.A. Shrikumar Menon had revealed that Superstar Rajinikanth gave Mohanlal a call to appreciate his new look in the movie’s teaser.

Mohanlal was trained by a French fitness team comprising of 25 members, including doctors and physiotherapists. Interestingly, the trainers will be taking care of Mohanlal’s fitness for the next one year too, as he will be sporting a new look in Randamoozham, Shrikumar’s second film with the actor.
In a career spanning 40 years, this is the first time Mohanlal has taken up a tough groundwork. Written by National award winner Harikrishnan, Odiyan is produced by Antony Perumbavoor. Manju Warrier is the female lead in Odiyan, which will also feature Prakash Raj, Narain and many others in the supporting cast.
