It was earlier being speculated that actor Trisha will also be a part of the upcoming Superstar Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj film.
Now, the makers of the movie Sun Pictures have confirmed the news with a tweet.
“We are happy to announce that for the first time, @trishtrashers will be acting with Superstar Rajini in #SuperstarWithSunPictures @rajinikanth @karthiksubbaraj @anirudhofficial (sic.)”
From their tweet, it seems likely that Trisha will star opposite Thalaivar Rajinikanth in the upcoming movie, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
In response to the announcement, Trisha has said “Coz sometimes you wake up and realise you’re still dreamin 😇❤️ #BestMonday#GODsfavouritechild#mycircleiscompletetoday🙏🏻 (sic.)”.
The movie also stars actors Simran, Nawazudin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha and others. Music is being scored by Anirudh Ravichander and Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist in the movie.
Interestingly, Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen together in the upcoming movie 96.
