The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu on Wednesday has announced the class 10th exam results.
The overall pass percentage of the year is 94.5% and Sivagangai tops the districts with the highest percentage 98.5%.
Girls outperform boys with 96.4 percentage. An overall of 92.5% boys cleared the examination, which was conducted by the Tamil Nadu DGE from March 16 to April 20.
In Chennai, 94.2 percent of students have passed the exam. In comparison to last year, the overall pass percentage has increased by 0.1%

For those who did not clear the tests, a supplementary exam will be held on July 28.
The provision mark sheets will be distributed on May 28.
