On the first week of December 2017, Sun Pictures officially announced that they will produce Thalapathy Vijay’s next film, tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 62’, directed by A. R. Murugadoss. Confirming speculations, the makers of the movie have now announced that AR Rahman will compose music for the upcoming project.
Interestingly, the blockbuster combo, AR Murugadoss and AR Rahman, are uniting for the third time after Thuppakki and Kaththi. On the other side, AR Rahman-Vijay combo is back for the 4th time after Udhaya, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan and the recent super hit Mersal.
There is no official announcement on the rest of the cast.
