RBI to issue new design for ₹ 100 notes

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revealed that the new Rs. 100 note will be lavender in color and will be circulated from next month.

The new design has Gujarat’s ‘Rani Ki Vav’ (the queen’s stepwell) and the Swachh Bharat logo and slogan have been placed on the back side. This design too has Mahatma Gandhi ji‘s image in the front side.
