In a recent Twitter interaction with fans, singer Chinmayi, who has crooned soulful numbers for the film, revealed that the movie is slated for September 7 release. However, an official announcement from the makers of the movie is yet to come!
Directed by C. Prem Kumar and bankrolled by Madras Enterprises, 96 revolves around the reunion of childhood lovers, played by Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi.
