Veteran actor Sridevi breathed her last in Dubai on Saturday. The actor, who made a mark early in her career acting in Tamil films, died due to cardiac arrest.
Sridevi, 55, is survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and two daughters. She was in Dubai to celebrate a family function. Here are some of the pictures taken during the event:
Regarded as the ‘first female superstar’ of India, the actress was a recipient of Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, in 2013.
The actor was born in Sivakasi on August 13, 1963.
