Naachiyaar is an upcoming movie, directed and produced by Bala, and features Jyothika and music director-turned-actor G.V. Prakash in lead roles. The music is composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. Jyothika has given a number of successful movies to the Tamil and the Telugu film industry.
The actress was previously seen in Magalir Mattum.
A crime thriller, Naachiyaar is set in the slums and with a lot of action sequences involving cops.
However, Naachiyaar‘s teaser doesn’t reveal much about the film. At first, we only see scenes that reveal the different shades of two characters: one played by G.V. Prakash; and Jyothika, a violent cop, who dominates the screen with a bold character.
Plenty of chase sequences, scenes of punishments feature in the teaser.

National award-winning director Bala’s Naachiyaar film teaser was released by actor Suriya on Twitter. He said that he is ‘proud to release’ the film teaser.

The film will release in a couple of months but no official announcements have been made.
