Google, the world’s premier search engine, makes it a point to mark important days with their doodles. The doodle generally appears instead of Google’s logo and the creators of the doodle sure put in a lot of effort to make the doodles exciting.

With a little over a week left for Christmas, Google doodle set the mood for the holiday season with their latest doodle, on Monday.

In what looks like a comic strip, a family of penguins is seen calling up their friend- a pelican- over the phone. The difference in seasons is starkly indicated with snow on the penguin’s side and palm trees on the pelican’s.
