Just a few days ago, it was announced that director Venkat Prabhu will be joining hands with Simbu for a new project. While fans are going haywire over this exciting combination, both VP and Simbu have had their kitties full this year.
Venkat Prabhu had also announced that the project will not be a sequel to Billa 2. Venkat Prabhu had said on Twitter that the title of this much-anticipated project will be revealed on July 9 at 11:00 a.m.
“Tuesday 11am will release the title of #strvp project!! Thanks guys!!! #str #vp9 @sureshkamatchi (sic.)” he had said in his tweet.
Now, the title of the movie is finally here. The STR-VP project will henceforth be called Maanaadu. Venkat Prabhu has also said that the movie will release in the summer of 2019 and it looks like it will be a political drama.
