The official teaser of Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0 will be launched on November 22.
As per an industry expert, the teaser of Rajinikanth’s 2.0 will be launched in a grand manner on November 22 in Hyderabad. Furthermore, it seems that the trailer launch is booked to happen on December 12. Undoubtedly this news has created buzz among fans and make the wait for ‘2.0’ even more difficult.
2.0 is definitely not a spin-off of the 2010 release Enthiran, said director Shankar during the audio launch of 2.0.
Rajinikanth’s 2.O in 3D
The movie, expected to hit the screens in 2018, is a science fiction spine chiller and has been shot in 3D. In it, Rajinikanth will repeat his Chitti character like Enthiran while Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will play a character named Dr. Richard.
Remarkably, the audio launch of 2.0 was held a couple of weeks back in Dubai.
Rumoured to be made on a budget of over Rs 400 crore, the film marks the third collaboration between Shankar and Rajinikanth, post-Enthiran and Sivaji.
Over 15 studios from across the globe are simultaneously working on different portions of the film. The film will be released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu, with plans to release it in 12 other languages. The film’s satellite rights across all languages have been bagged at Rs 100 crore, making it the highest amount paid for an Indian film.
