Director M Rajesh’s romantic comedy entertainer Mr Local starring Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara in the lead roles has hit the screens on Friday. The movie which was released amidst huge expectations has opened to mixed responses.

Extensive first half. Happy to see @Siva_Kartikeyan in his original prime form. On and off engagement but for a weekend getaway, there are certain moments to sit back and enjoy. #MrLocal is a template, but does entertain periodically.
#MrLocal Interval: Hops along light-heartedly with it’s fun moments spread out well. The SK – Nayanthara track stabilizes the film, lot of references to current trending topics which’ll crack you up. Mildly enjoyable so far!
