As dark clouds loom over many cities in Tamil Nadu, the Met Department has announced that the State is all set to receive rainfall in the next two days. It has said that the majority of the northern districts of the State will receive medium rainfall in the next 48 hours.
Fishermen on the coastal districts have been asked to avoid the seas for the next 72 hours.
A few districts in the south might also receive rainfall, the announcement added.

“The sky condition is likely to be generally cloudy. Rain or thundershower is likely to occur in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 36 and 25 deg Celsius respectively,” the Met Dept. said in its forecast of the next 24 hours.
