Thalapathy 62 has no dearth of frenzy as of today. Pictures from the shooting spot go viral online and every announcement made by the team is cause for celebration.
Recently, it was being speculated that an announcement about Thalapathy 62 can be expected soon. The announcement came from Sun Pictures’ official Twitter handle.
Here’s what they said- “The First Look and Movie Title of #Thalapathy62WithSunPictures will be revealed on @SunTV at 6pm on June 21st. #Thalapathy62FirstLookon21st @actorvijay @ARMurugadoss @arrahman.”
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Thalapathy62 has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead. Legendary composer AR Rahman has been roped in to compose music for the film. It was recently also revealed that actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been roped in for a pivotal role.
There were reports doing rounds that Varalaxmi will be playing the antagonist’s role. There has not been an official word on this yet.
Thalapathy 62 cast and crew details
This movie marks Thalapathy Vijay’s 62nd movie and has hence been tentatively titled Thalapathy62. Veteran actor Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu are also part of the movie. This news too was confirmed by Sun Pictures on Twitter.
The combination of Thalapathy Vijay and AR Rahman is all set to reunite for the 4th time after the superhit Mersal.
Sreekar Prasadh handles the editing department and Girish Gangadharan handles the camera. Popular writer Jeyamohan is penning the dialogues for the movie.
The big news is that Thalapathy 62 is likely to lock horns with Thala Ajith’s Viswasam and Suriya’s NGK.
