C.S.Amudhan is directing the sequel to the superhit Tamizh Padam, starring actor Shiva in the lead. While the posters of the movie have already got the audience gripped, the team is all busy filming the movie.
C.S Amudhan who is known for his trademark hilarious tweets – just like his films – recently revealed that the Tamizh Padam 2.0 team is flying to Malaysia for the next schedule.

Tamizh Padam was a lighthearted entertainer that poked fun at the stereotypes displayed in Tamil cinema.
Tamizh Padam pair, Shiva, and Disha Pandey will portray the leads in the sequel too. Sashikanth, the producer of the movie, would be playing a role in the film which has Ishwarya Menon, Sathish, Santhana Bharathi, Manobala, R Sundararajan, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Chetan in important roles
After A.R. Murugadoss’s tweet that hinted a Deepavali release for his next with Vijay, Amudhan also put up a similar tweet, in true Tamizh Padam fashion. Going by C.S Amudhan’s tweet, Tamizh Padam 2.0 is expected to hit theatres on May 1, 2018. Like its prequel, Tamizh Padam 2.0 is also expected to be a laugh riot. Stay tuned!
