Only recently, Sarathkumar revealed posters of his next movie Paamban on Twitter, featuring him in the titular role. The look, seemingly inspired by aqua-man, has left netizens wondering and his fans can hardly wait to see their favorite action hero on-screen. Directed by Venkatesh, the movie caused a stir on social media once the first look was released.
In a recent update, it was revealed that Sarathkumar’s daughter, actor Varalaxmi, will also be joining the cast. According to reports, she will be seen in an action-based role and will even be seen performing risky stunts.
Both Sarathkumar and Varalaxmi announced the news on their Twitter handles and going by Varalaxmi’s tweet, she is excited to start working with her father.

Reported to begin shooting on February 23, Paamban is said to be a mythological drama and going by Sarathkumar’s tweet, music director Srikanth Deva will be scoring music for this film.
Varalaxmi will also be seen in Dhanush’s Maari 2, Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2, and in Mr. Chandramouli with Gautham Karthik. She will also be seen playing the lead opposite actor Vemal in Kanni Rasi.
