Multifaceted Vijay Antony who was last seen playing dual roles in Annadurai will be next seen in two projects – Kaali and Thimiru Pudichavan.
While the shooting of Thirimu Pudichavan is progressing at a brisk pace, Kaali is all geared up for a grand release. Picture Box Company, that has acquired the rights of Kaali, officially announced the movie’s release date.
Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Kaali will have a worldwide release on Tamil New year, April 14. Check out the tweet here –

Touted to be an action entertainer, Kaali is the second directorial of Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi after the 2013 superhit Vanakkam Chennai, starring Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles.
Produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation, Kaali also stars Sunaina, Anjali, Amritha and Shilpa Manjunath alongside Vijay Antony. Actors Yogi Babu, RK Suresh, Madhusudhan, Jaya Prakash and many others will be seen in important roles.
Apart from the playing the lead role, Vijay Antony will also be composing music for the film. The cinematography is by Richard M Nathan and editing by Lawrence Kishore. Kaali is currently in post-production stage.
Vijay Antony had started shooting for his first ever cop thriller, Thimiru Pudichavan, soon after he completed Kaali. Directed by Ganeshaa, who has worked as associate director to the acclaimed SS Rajamouli, Thimiru Pudichavan went on floors on February 7.
