In a story that shook the nation, the brutal rape, and murder of eight-year-old Asifa Bano has sparked outrage. According to the charge sheet filed, the child was kidnapped and held captive in a local temple where she was kept sedated and repeatedly gang-raped. The police have also said that one of the accused had asked to ‘rape her one last time’ before she was bludgeoned to death.
