On Saturday, Arvind Swami took some time to chat with his fans on Twitter. In response to a question asked by a fan whether he has any plans of directing a movie, the actor said that he would wear the director’s hat probably in 2018.

Soon, another fan asked him, “What kinda of director we can expect from you… Another maniratnam or another aravind swamy (sic)”. To which the actor replied, “expect the unexpected.” However, Arvind Swami did not reveal anything more about the project.

Arvind Swami is currently busy promoting his much-anticipated movie Bhaskar Oru Rascal starring Amala Paul in the female lead. Recently, the makers of the movie released its trailer and songs, composed by Amaresh Ganesh.
Bhaskar Oru Rascal also stars Theri fame Baby Nainika, Siddique, Nikesha Patel, Soori, Narayanan, Robo Shankar and many others in the supporting cast. Apart from Bhaskar Oru Rascal, Arvind Swami will also be seen in Sathuranga Vettai 2, Naragasooran, Vanangamudi and Mani Ratnam’s upcoming multi-starrer.
Meanwhile, it is speculated that actor Arvind Swami and director KS Ravikumar are teaming up for a new project. Touted to be an action entertainer, this Arvind Swami starrer will be produced by Harshini Movies. An official announcement from the team is awaited though!
