Superstar Rajinikanth celebrated his 67th birthday on December 12. Though the actor stayed away from celebrations, wishes had been pouring in for the actor from all corners of the world.
Like every other celebrity, actor Kamal Haasan too wished the superstar through his social media page. Referring to Rajini as his “brother”, Kamal greeted the Kaala actor. However, the wishes came late as the actor was in the US busy with the post-production works of his long-pending project Vishwaroopam 2.

Rajinikanth’s birthday is usually celebrated in grandeur, but for the past few years, the actor has been staying away from celebrations. It is reported that the actor opted for a low-key celebration this year on account of the destruction caused by cyclone Ockhi in the State.
In 2016, the actor called off his birthday bash following the demise of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. And in 2015, the Enthiran actor discouraged celebrations due to unprecedented flood, that devastated the entire State.
