The shooting of Suriya’s NGK past halfway mark. The latest is that the NGK team has roped in popular editor Praveen KL to take care of the cuts.
Praveen took to his Twitter to share his excitement on the same. “Super excited to be part of @Suriya_offl sir and @selvaraghavan sir’s #NGK thanks to @prabhu_sr sir for the opportunity. Always looked up to Selva sir for his writing and films. With @thisisysr and selva sirs magical combo this is one is pretty xciting for me.”, tweeted Praveen KL.
The Kabali editor has replaced GK Prasanna, who was initially announced to be part of the project. The reason for the replacement is unknown.
Directed by Selvaraghavan, NGK is the first collaboration of Suriya with the director. The team recently resumed shooting for the project in Pollachi. Suriya and Sai Pallavi, who play the lead roles in the movie, are part of the schedule, which will last for 20 days. NGK also has Rakul Preet in the female lead. Reportedly, Suriya will be appearing in double roles.
Responding to rumours about the movie’s genre, director Selvaraghavan had recently clarified that he leave it to the audience. “#NGK… Heard few rumours about the genre of the film. Family..,?? Political? Or a thriller…? As usual I leave it to your guessing, friends.. For us it’s TOTAL #NGKFIRE and #fierceshooting..”, tweeted Selvaraghavan.
Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The Yuvan-Selvaraghavan combination has worked magic before and the team is getting ready to deliver yet again with this movie, bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures.
