The much-awaited audio and trailer of the Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96 is all set to release on August 24. The makers of the movie have kept the buzz high with charming posters featuring the lead pair. Here’s the latest one-
According to several reports, Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi play the role of two people that went to the same high school and how their paths cross later in life. Vijay Sethupathi’s character goes on to become a wildlife photographer and Trisha’s character becomes a teacher.
The recently released poster seems to confirm the same. While on a live Twitter interaction with fans earlier this year, Trisha revealed that the name of her character in 96 is Janu and that the shoot has been completed.
More reports suggest that the year 1996 will have a major role to play in the movie and will focus on 3 phases of Vijay Sethupathi’s life. Directed by Prem Kumar team of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom fame, 96‘s music is already receiving praises.
Meanwhile, Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi will also be seen in the upcoming untitled Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj project. Trisha stars opposite Superstar Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist.
