‘Komban’, one of the prized bulls in Jallikattu circles, passed away during the sport after injuring its head while coming out of Vaadivasal (entrance), on Sunday.
Komban, the bull, participated in Jallikattu, held at Thirunallur village on Sunday. Reports say that a veterinary team attended to the situation and that the bull was taken to the hospital too. Unfortunately, Komban succumbed to his injuries.
It is to be noted that all the bulls injured in the event were given immediate medical attention.
Jallikattu has been a matter of pride for every Tamilian and the news has come as a bitter shock to all of them.
